At lunchtime or evening, from à la carte to senior citizen's specials, a selection of great dishes and local classics use the best locally sourced ingredients – from the stir-fried beef or homemade liver and bacon casserole to the venison, medallions of fillet steak or rack of prime lamb.
The dining room is available for private parties, functions or celebrations and there is a separate first floor function room.
There’s a great choice of beers - including lagers, stouts and traditional real ales - or an excellent wine list, a fine selection of malt whiskies and other spirits and liqueurs. Something for every taste and everything stored and kept in perfect condition.
